Chairman's Speech
The Company has undertaken its most ambitious product development program in its history, and will be launching several new sports sedans and sports cars in the next two years in order to provide dealers with a more competitive and wider product range. The automobile sector impacts the lives of millions worldwide. It creates a huge number of direct and indirect. The automotive industry has been, and probably will always be, a barometer of the economic health of a nation, and remains a symbol of a nation's prosperity. Tata Motors will strive to retain its market prominence domestically and internationally and will continue to be a responsible corporate citizen wherever it operates and do the right thing for all its stakeholders and the communities which it serves. In ending, I would like to express my special thanks and deep appreciation to all the employees of Tata Motors in India. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to you, our shareholders, for the support and understanding you have given to us in good times and bad. Without the support of employees and without the understanding and the support of our unions and shareholders, none of what we have been able to do could have been achieved.

Code of conduct
National Interest A Tata companys management practices and business conduct shall benefit the country, localities and communities in which it operates, to the extent possible and affordable, and shall be in accordance with the laws of the land. Financial reporting and records A Tata company shall prepare and maintain its accounts fairly and accurately and in accordance with the accounting and financial reporting standards which represent the generally accepted guidelines, principles, standards, laws and regulations of the country in which the company conducts its business affairs. Competition A Tata company shall fully support the development and operation of competitive open markets and shall promote the liberalisation of trade and investment in each country and market in which it operates. Gifts and donations A Tata company and its employees shall neither receive nor offer or make, directly or indirectly, any illegal payments, remuneration, gifts, donations or comparable benefits that are intended, or perceived, to obtain uncompetitive favours for the conduct of its business

Code of conduct
Health, safety and environment A Tata company shall strive to provide a safe, healthy, clean working environment for its people. NEW DELHI: Tata motors is likely to drive smoothly in FY14 driven by multiple product launches. Tata Motors was the best performing stock in the year 2012 among the 30-Sensex stocks. The stock gained over 75 per cent in the previous year as compared to the BSC Sensex which gained 26 per cent in the same period. Asia Pacific-focused broker upgraded Tata Motors from 'outperform' rating to 'buy' supported by multiple product launches by Jaguar Tata motors December sales at 65,582 nos. JLR is poised to deliver strong performance over FY14-15 driven by multiple new product triggers such as new Range Rover, new Range Rover Sport, new F-type Jaguar, new jaguar variants and a new small Jaguar. The Tata Pixel, with 'Zero Turn' drive and an innovative diamond-shaped door system, is a new city car concept for Europe from Tata Motors.

Corporate social responsibility


Curative and preventive health services were 295,0575 community member. Scholarships for higher studies were awarded to 891 students. School infrastructure was developed for 100 schools.

Vocational training was imparted to 1048 youth.


Green cover was increased by planting 290,850 trees. Portable water solutions with support from the Sumant Moolgaonkar Development Foundation (SMDF) provided to 100 villages.

Corporate social responsibility


A signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, Tata Motors is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility. Education: A joint team of Tata Motors Thailand donated items such as sun-fitte shades to help block sunshine on the school playground and life vests for children. Environmental Conservation Work done by Tata Motors for environmental conservation includes recycling up to 69% of wood packaging, eliminating the use of fresh wood. Tata Motors Thailand also extended vehicular support to raise funds for helping the Tsunami and Earthquake victims of Japan. Rural health workers are trained to act as foot doctors to cure minor ailments in their allocated areas.
