Wireless IP Surveillance Solutio

2/7/13

Problem Statement
Design and Deployment of Wireless Surveillance system for monitoring Remote perimeters of TEA estates in OOTY and other places. Main objective is to monitor the movement of animals and other kinds of intrusions through out the perimeter and reporting the same in real time to the concerned authorities. The idea is to incorporate IP camera based surveillance system which monitors the activity of perimeters at equal distances of 300 meters on the perimeter transferring the the video in real time to a Network video monitoring and 2/7/13 Recording Software for analysis and reporting.

Basic Solution
Objectives and requirements:
a.

b.

Provide Wireless Access points at each selected perimeter point to which a stand alone camera with night vision will be attached. This video will be relayed through the WAP to a central monitoring station / central station corresponding to that TEA estate where the manager / Surveyor can view the video in the PC deployed over there. The following are the equipment required at each selected perimeter point for relaying the video to the Central station / Unit . 1. IP Camera with night vision capability (1 in number) : There are various models depending on your requirement. 2. WAP equipment with inbuilt directional patch antenna and other required accessories. Please refer the quotation for your reference (singareni_CCTV_basicquote.pdf). 3. Power supply unit , surge suppressor , Lightening protector etc

Advanced Solution
Objectives and requirements: This is nothing but basic solution + solar power pack for 24/7 power backup. This constitutes a solar power pack at each perimeter point which can provide a power backup for 3 days autonomy. The PV panel and the battery components will be chosen accordingly. Also this can be supplemented with AC mains which can help in the situation of continuous power failure for three days in rainy season especially. b.
