INTRODUCTION

Computers today are performing tremendous changes in all fields. They are fast changing the way in which work is done by their speed, accuracy and diligence. Almost all good business practices have embraced computers for increasing the productivity and efficiency, which ultimately results in profits. Each and every department of the business organization is computerized.

Hospital Management System is to computerize the manual record maintenance of the accounts department. This system uses a database for storing information. The system has salient features, which reduces the complexity

MODULES
Hospital Details Patient Details Doctors Details Appointment Details Reports

Hospital Details: This module is to provide information about the hospital such as wards, surgical rooms, treatment rooms, OP rooms, OT theaters and all the other information related to the process of the hospital.
Patient Details: This module maintains the In-Patient and Out-Patients details such as Patient no, name, doctor no., name and etc. Admission of the patient and the treatment summary are also feed with this module

Doctors Details: This module can show the doctors, nurses, ward in charge and other workers personal information and their clerical information with salary details. Here the user can select the staff no to fetch details about the staff will be given automatically.
Appointment Details: This module is to fix the appointment to the doctors who are available on that particular day and it schedules the doctor duty as per the appointments and the surgery

Report:
This module generates the report depending upon the Input.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of developing Hospital Management System is to computerized the tradition way of handling `. MERITS User friendly interface Fast access to database Less error More Storage Capacity Search facility Look and Feel Environment Quick transaction

LIMITATIONS The existing system has some limitations that said follows:
At present keeping records is manual. Large no of records is required. Lacks of security. Calculation takes more time. Chance for getting error is more.
