How is our disciplemaking so far?

Have you even begun?

How is your progress?

Are we truly making an impact in their lives?

Are they loving God and also making disciples?

Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly. (1 Pet. 5:2)

What kind of heart should we have in disciple-making?

What kind of heart should we have this March as we live daily in the presence of God?

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. (1 Cor. 13:13)

What kind of heart should we have in disciple-making?

What kind of heart should we have this March as we live daily in the presence of God?

A heart that LOVES

The result of loveless ministry is serious: I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal I am nothing I gain nothing.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Cor. 13:1

If we say nice or kind words but not out of love, we are just noise.

Even if we teach the truth, but do not love the one we're teaching, we are doing wrong.

Are you the type of person who would teach someone without loving them?

Do you really love your disciples?

Do you truly care for your kids?

Do you love your students?

A heart that LOVES

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Cor. 13:2

Even if you know a lot of things, even if you're an expert in your field, but do not love, you are nothing.

People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care. - John C. Maxwell

Even if you are a superhero, without love you are nothing.

Even if you do great and mighty things for God...

A heart that LOVES

Do you really love?

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 1 Cor. 13:3

Even if you sacrifice your time, money, & resources, if you did not do so out of love, it's a waste.

If we came here this morning, giving our time to God, but not really loving God, He is not pleased.

Even if you give your whole life for the service of God or even die for your faith, God still looks for love at your heart.

God looks at your heart more than your service.

God looks at what drives you more than your behavior.

A heart that LOVES

How much do you care about the people around you?

Would you say that your desire to make disciples has been motivated by love? Why or why not?

Take some time to consider your existing relationshipsfamily, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc.

1) List down 1 family member, 1 friend, 1 coworker, and 1 neighbor. 2) Pray for them daily this coming week.
