No one knows where or when the black horse arrived as he pierced through the horizon in the sunlight with his majestic presence. He was untroubled, self-confident and free. The hills where he ran stretched alongside his mysterious gallop that seemed to almost touch the sky. On his left side, seated on her deep silence, was an old Oak Forest. Other sounds rolled towards him from there; like watching an unknown gladness within. On his right was a lawn enclosed by an old fence made from wooden beams.

While he was running he saw a beautiful snowy white mare behind the fence frolicking among the grass and the butterflies. As he quietly approached the barrier he gazed at her for a long time, intoxicated with a feeling of miraculous joy and he became mesmerized by her. When their eyes met she stood still, even though the butterflies were still calling her by name, calling her back to play. She began to feel ike she was floating as she approached him, carried by the light breath of the wind.

Once they were close enough to almost touch each other she became very sad because she was not able to go to the other side of the wooden fence. Fear gripped her heart for she knew that even if she could make it to the other side she would be caught by the one who fenced her in! But the black horse looked into her eyes and convinced her to trust him. Suddenly he turned around and with one quick movement his hind legs kicked down the wooden fence, freeing her!

Joyfully, the two horses ran towards the old Oak Forest. They walked side to side and the broke into a gallop towards the mysterious forest. They could feel the light breath of the wind and the warm yellow light of the sun. They were accompanied by the sound of the oak trees which whispered a beautiful feeling of goodness.

Suddenly, the black horse stopped abruptly. His body tensed up as he listened to the sound of the forest which seemed to whisper to him. The snowy white mare playfully tried to entice the black horse to play a game with her but he refused. He sensed that there was something threatening in the air and that they were imminent danger! In the next moment the two began a stormy gallop fleeing from the danger that was approaching them.

As they continued to run they entered a hidden glade. It was here that they discovered the forest mystery! They found a rectangular stone that was the color of the sky and in the middle of the stone flowed crystalline water. The water was cool and beautiful to see which enticed them to drink from the stone. With no hesitation and liberated from all the previous fear they felt just moments ago, the two horses took deep draughts of the blessed water. Without noticing, they both went through a wonderful metamorphosis! When they raised their heads they were taken aback in astonishment for she was now a unicorn, and for him a silver star appeared on his forehead!

Their joy only lasted a few moments as they were interrupted by the sound of barking dogs and the thundering sound of horses and men. Like a storm, a group of mounted hunters, who were sent by the owner of the place where the snowy white mare escaped, were just footsteps away from them! The hunters had their bows stretched towards them ready to shoot. The transformed horses resumed their gallop and were amazed that they did not feel tired, but energized, as if they were floating through the air without sound! However, even with their new found strength, they were unable to escape their pursuers.

The hunters were now able to corner them into the mouth of a deep abyss. When they realized that they were surrounded by their pursuers, the black horse, with the help from his silver star on his forehead, was able to create a force field of greenish-blue light in the shape of a dome that prevented the dogs and hunters from coming near them. Gaining a little time, the black horse created a small wooden bridge across the abyss as the snowy white unicorn made her way to the other side.

When the two horses were almost across the bridge, the black horse looked back and saw that the hunters managed to get around the force field and were now behind them on the small bridge. In order to stop the hunters from reaching the other side, the black horse destroyed the bridge; but this put their lives in danger, too. The hunters fell into the gorge and the two horses also fell for a few meters before crash-landing on a crest that was on the other side of the gorge.

The danger seemed far off but now an impassable distance was between him and the unicorn and they were separated by a deep cavern! Not losing faith in the power of his star the black horse gathered up all the force he still possessed so he could be reunited to the snowy white unicorn, whom he loved. He exerted all his energy and he streamed forth into an extraordinary jump across the abyss to get next to her. Unfortunately, there was an external force still opposing them, trying to separate them. The earth began to crumble at the black horse's feet and he became powerless.

He didn't have enough strength to fight any more so he let himself fall towards the bottom of the abyss. Before he reached the bottom, with his last drop of strength, he created a bed made of crystal shards, brightly colored, in which to die, like in the old Geto- Dacian rituals.

In the very last second he was rescued by a floating cloud send by the unicorn. His pride got in the way and he felt a little foolish being saved by the mare so he tried to jump off the cloud and back into the abyss but the cloud would not let him. As he lay on the cloud he was lifted to the other side!

Once again, full of joy, the two resumed their love destiny. From their love they gave birth to a small unicorn and she quickly grew into a world that only goodness ruled.

One evening, after many years, the black horse with the star on his forehead, sensed an unusual feeling of anxiety. He began to worry about his daughter. After searching for her he found that she was in terrible danger. A strong red bull was trying to kidnap his young daughter. When the bull saw the black horse, he came out of the bushes and the two of them began to fight. They violently knocked their foreheads together, tearing into the night sky. The black horse's forehead illuminated the greenish-blue light while the bull's forehead emitted an intense red light.

The young frightened unicorn ran to her mother for help. When the unicorns approached they saw how the red light was enduring and the black horse defeated. Full of sadness, the young daughter went to him. The tears that fell on the wounded body of her father gave him the power he needed for healing. Meanwhile her mother started to fight with the bull, who happened to be the owner of the area where she escaped when she was young.

When the black horse recovered, he entered the fight beside the unicorn as she emanated a white-crystal light. When the two of them combined their forces, they stabbed the bull with their light, splitting him into two iron balls that started to roll in two different directions; one ball landed in a lake and began to decompose while the other landed into the abyss.

After the fight the two horses, powerless from using all their energy, fell into the abyss but the young unicorn began to cry and brought her parents back up on a floating cloud. The three of them raised up to the sky on the cloud and the arrived in the middle of a big arena. In the arena the two unicorns were welcomed with joy, but the black horse was refused with unfriendly shouts! He was not accepted because of his pride as he felt that everything he had done was through personal achievement. He believed that he should also be welcomed like a hero.

Feeling rejected, he left the arena to go out into the dark and empty wilderness but he noticed that the doors were still opened and he saw a light nearby. The black horse began to realize that he could not do anything alone and he would be lost without help and could not do anything on his own.

Once he realized he was wrong he put his pride aside. He saw a silhouette of someone on the gate. The figure was female and she encouraged him to enter in. The woman was the owner of the mysterious spring from the forest where the two horses had gained their powers.

After he went inside, the black horse was led to an iron lattice cage where he was left alone. New he would have to begin a new fight, a fight within himself. He finally succeeded in separating his evil fighting spirit from his sincere side. His body divided into two parts, one part appearing as a black horse and the other a white horse. The two began a short struggle but in the end the white horse was victorious!

This one grew fast and transformed into a strong and powerful unicorn. After saying goodbye to the unicorns, the black horse went back to earth alone to show them and other creatures the way to the forest mystery.
