voltage charger cannot be taken with us during a traveling and it has many limitations.
so ,To avoid these limitations , we use the brand new model of usb cable charger using ordinary lithium batteries. To charge our mobile phones ,we use a voltage regulated charger. This circuit is useful to charge your mobile phone during your travel where there is no available AC power, will be able to refill 3-4 times in place.

Input of 9v is given as input side .Battery of positive is connected to diode of D1 All it is really is two or more resistors/capacitors/diodes/inductors in series to connected but the values are adjusted to achieve a specific voltage output. the diode which ensures current flows in only one direction (we dont want any mishaps). Of course, diodes do have a drop voltage. Then we have two decoupling capacitors to smooth out the voltage coming in, and going out The output is, get on voltage regulator circuit side.

When battery power is applied to the circuit through S1, transistor Q1 conducts and Green LED lights on . Charging current flows from the collector of Q1.but ac power is not available.
Zener diode D2 is used. To reduce the charging voltage to 4.7 volts. Most of the Mobile phone batteries are rated at 3.6 V/500 mA. A single pen torch cell can provide 1.5 volts and 1.5 Amps current. Usb refers to types of cable, connectors used to connect these many types of external devices.such as computers, mobile phones. The output gives 20 mA current for slow charging. If more current is required for fast charging, reduce the value of R4 to 47 ohms so that 80 mA current will be available.
