KAIZEN

Kaizen means continuous improvement , taken

from words 'Kai' means continuous and 'zen' means improvement.


Kaizen is a system that involves every employee -

from top to bottom. Everyone is encouraged to come up with small improvement suggestions on a regular basis. This is not a once a month or once a year activity. It is continuous .

Kaizen is based on making little changes on a

regular basis: always improving productivity, safety and effectiveness while reducing waste.

Kaizen is based on suggestions, Suggestions are not

limited to a specific area such as production or manufacturing. Kaizen is based on making changes anywhere that improve systems on continual basis.

Kaizen involves setting standards and then

continually improving those standards.


To support the higher standards Kaizen also

involves providing the training, materials and supervision that is needed for employees to achieve the higher standards and maintain their ability to meet those standards on an on-going basis .

Kaizen is focused on making small improvements

on a continuous basis for day to day work to be easier and more enjoyable--resulting in higher employee moral and job satisfaction for everyone.
Kaizen focuses on creative solutions instead of

capital expenditures. It involves everyone in an organization working together to make improvements without large capital investments."

motivation for individual Kaizen. By training employee for 5S. By motivating employee for giving suggestion. By appreciating there suggestion. Improving teamwork.

or intangible saving by suggestion , innovation ,creativity , Originality of idea. Organizing monthly meeting to appreciate the suggestion given by Employee. Give one Pen as token for recognise there efforts. Forwarding suggestions to suggestion scheme having significant saving for further recognition & appreciation.
