Within this still it conveys elements of the use of performance in which we are able to showcase our narrative; with different aspects juxtaposing our star image. This helps to convey a different image helping to demonstrate our genre of indie; as you can see within this still you can understand how he is an outcaste though his choice of lifestyle. By having a transvestite combined into our perform it also widens our audience as it conveys a message of acceptance. An example of performance in a real music video would be 'Mumford and Son' as they set there music video in a barn connecting their genre of music (indie/ folk) into they style of performance.

This still conveys the use of our narrative allowing us to engage with our target audience, domestic violence happens every day and by encorpreating it into our music video helps bring awareness. also by having this aspect within our narrative it demonstrating the creativity of our music video; it helps interlink the song with the performance. The use of our narrative helps convey our star image with a larger impact leaving our audience thinking about aspects of life in more detail. An example of narrative within a real music video Ed Sheran 'A team' is a good example as it relates to the song well depicting the lyrics in an artistic way, and is very good at engaging the audience. This is a great example of the use of narrative as it depicts all the main elements of form.

The use of thematic material within our music video would be the feather, interlinking the star with the characters (linking the performance with the narrative.) By using the father it helps develop our music video into a more professional outcome, it allows us to be able to differentiate the main artist as she is the one which uses the feather as a reforestation of freedom and acceptance. The feather helps create a larger impact of the viewer as they have to work out why the feather has been used. An example within areal music video would be 'Gorillazs- feel good inc' their use of thematic materials is thought motifs and symbols throughout the video interlinking the band with the narrative.

CONVENTIONS

The use of artistic camera work within our music video would be the wide shot of London, it helps make our music video more dynamic as these of interesting creative shots help keep the audiences attention. The reason why artistic camera work works well as it creates visual impact to the viewer being innovative; also bringing aspects of originality to withhold our audiences attention. An example for a real music video would be, 'Mount Kimbe- before I move off' though the use of world wide photos presented in montage is creative and very interesting. This is a brilliant video as an example of artistic camera work.

CONVENTIONS

To help create atmosphere within our music video the use of conspicuous lighting is key to achieve this. The shot above is a prime example, by the use of this lighting we are able to achieve an emotional mood linking in with the overall theme of our music video. It also helps create visual impact drawing in the audiences attention as it is creates a more realistic atmosphere. An example of a real music video would be 'Crystal Castles- counter ship dating' the lighting within this music video works really well creating a hard hitting visual impact that is both creative and helps convey confusion.

CONVENTIONS

The importance of the artist close up is to reinforce the start image which I feel this still reflects well. Within this still you can understand the presents/ absence the star image conveys as she shears a repel with the audience. The star is able to do this by touching on issues that people come across in every day life. By having our star sing into the camera it helps create a stronger report as it seems more personal between the audience and the artist. Again from 'Crystal Castles' the artist close up conveys the dark side which is made clear though the use of make up and lighting.
