Definition
Green Engine is a six phase internal combustion engine having a very higher expansion ratio, higher thermal efficiency, with nearly zero emissions, light and small in size, lower cost with a capability of burning various kinds of fuels.
Working
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Suction Stroke Compression Stroke 1st Power Stroke Exhaust Stroke 2nd Power Stroke Exhaust Stroke
th 6
Finally the combustion chamber valve opens the piston moves upwards forcing the pure air into the combustion chamber. The crankshaft will complete 3 full cycles at the end of the 6th stroke.
Stroke
Advantages
Two Power strokes in six strokes: Small Size and light weight: Dramatic reduction in pollution: Liquefied Petroleum Gas: Cost comparable to those of a four-stroke engine:
Applications
1. Like normal engine green engine can be employed in automobiles and in aircrafts too. 2. Engineering applications. 3. Military use. 4. Mines. 5. Electrical Generators. 6. Ships and submarines.
Conclusion
1. Green engine can work with large variety of fuels which makes it good choice for using nonconventional fuels like biodiesel. 2. Pollution is minimized by green engine. 3. Its a new revolutionary engine technology.
