Museum
A museum preserves and researches collections, and makes objects and information accessible in actual and virtual environments. A museum helps people understand the world by using objects and ideas to interpret the past and present and explore the future. 5. Concept
The hypothesis which has prompted the form of the main building is basically based on the second most important needs of human life i.e. shelter. The word shelter has a very comprehensive range of of its meaning which starts from the shade of a tree and probably rather abstractly end in the shape of of the abode of The Almighty i.e. a temple, a gurudwara, a mosque, a church, or any such thing which is symbolic for the purpose. The story of shelter really begins from the shade of a tree initially evolution to caves and presently it is like a serial about which the director says this show is unending, we will meet in the next episode. This is the real faade of architecture. Pages will be added to the book of architecture but there wail be no last page. To be precise enough, architecture is not an art, science and technology. Architecture is an unending process which imbibes in the contemporary art, science and technology as well as the mental level of civilization which unendingly rises with the lapse of time. Thus architecture may be compared to a perennial river which ceaselessly flows and ends in the ocean which is infinity for the river. Thus architecture is best depicted by and the form of museum of architecture can be best projected in the form of . The proposed site is at a riverfront which explicitly nurtures the idea that architecture is an unending process. The proposed museum of architecture is only about 20 metres from the riverfront and more than 60% in an image form which will be apart from the grand oceanic beauty, a highly symbolic expression that whatever is being presented in the museum is actually lies in the womb of a continuity which is tending towards infinity.
