The training programmes introduced in the company are not effective.

The money and efforts spent on these programmes dont yield desired results.

To study the effectiveness of the current training programmes through a survey and to analyse data collected.
On the basis of data collected, give recommendations to the organization to improve on the key identified areas and make the programme more effective and suggest ways to improve better employee efficiency.

Training is crucial for an organizational development and success.

Training is the process of enhancing the skills, capabilities and knowledge of employees for doing a particular job.
It moulds the thinking of employees and lead to quality performance of employees. It is fruitful to both employers and employees of an organization. An employee will become more efficient and productive if he is trained well.

Sometimes the training that is provided to the employees is not according to their job designation. The way the training is conducted is good. The training provided is interesting, lively, and understandable and there is comfortable learning atmosphere created. The scheduling of the training sessions is also not proper.

The packing unit and the production unit have to finish the given targets within the time frame.

The workers only attend the minimum requirements of training sessions per year and are not interested in attending more training sessions. Most of the employees feel that they already have all the skills to perform their job and this may be the reason why they are not interested to attend the trainings. Some employees are not interested in the trainings provided. The language used by the trainers is very high.

The employees should be made to realise how important the training is which is allotted to them while they are working so that they know what skills they need in order to work effectively.

The company should provide productive training to its employees because it leads to a motivated and productive workforce.
The company should give in house trainings to its employees and the company can adjust the dates as per the convenience of the employees.

Some weightage should be given to employees who attend the maximum training sessions.

The company should take feedback from the trainer as well as from the employees. And implement the important feedbacks. The KSAs should be determined to decide what type of training will improve the competencies of the employees as this will lead to improved job performance. The training sessions should be scheduled during non working hours. The trainers should communicate in simple language to be clearly understood by every employee coming from different backgrounds.

In todays highly competitive environment in the wastewater treatment industry, a training program is of utmost importance to be given to all the employees to make sure that the employees are effective.

The HR department of IEIL is putting a lot of efforts in conducting the training programme but is not fully able to deliver all the benefits of the training programme to all its employees and thus not able to reap maximum benefits. There are certain key areas which are identified and highlighted in my project where improvement is needed.

If the concerned key areas are deeply observed and even recommendations made are taken note of and if necessary steps are taken, it will surely help to make the current training programmes more effective.
