Recommended Prayers Times


It is recommended for a man to pray the Fajr at the glow of dawn,

In summer (or hot conditions) it is recommended to delay the noon prayer until it becomes cooler. Though in winter time (or cool conditions) it is recommended to pray it early unless it is overcast in which case it is better to delay

It is recommended to delay the afternoon prayer (Asr) but not to the extent that the sun changes and! becomes pale in colour.

During overcast conditions it is recommended to perform the afternoon prayer earlier


It is recommended to offer the sunset prayer (Maghrib) early in winter and summer, except in overcast conditions.

It is recommended to delay the nightfall prayer (Isha) until the first third of the night. However, during overcast conditions, it is preferable to perform the (Isha) prayer earlier

It is recommended to delay the Witr prayer to the end of the night if one is certain he will be alert
