Teachings of Swami Vivekananda

Purity, patience, and perseverance are the three essentials to success. Whatever you think, that you will be.

Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.

They alone live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive.

I only preach what is good for universal humanity. Do not look upon what has been done. Fear is death, fear is sin, fear is hell. Knowledge can only be got in one way, the way of experience, there is no other way to know.

Those who have no faith in themselves can never have faith in god.
Perfection does not come from belief or faith. Perfection comes through selfless work. Put God behind everything human being, animals, food and work. Make this a habit. Stand as a rock; you are indestructible. You are the self, the God of the universe. Strength is life, weakness is death.

A pure and strong will is omnipotent. You must be bright and cheerful. You must have friendship for all. We are suffering from own karma. It is not the fault of God. What we do is our own fault, nothing else. Why should God be blamed?

Golden quotes
The earth is enjoyed by heroes - this is unfailing truth. Be a hero . Always say, I have no fear. A few sincere and energetic men and women can do more in a year than a mob in a century.

All power is with in you.you can do anything and everything .Believe in that.

VEDANTA
The doctrine of Vedanta is based on Karma (action), Athma (soul) & Brahma (god) . Vedanta a spiritual teaching that again and again saved India during periods of decline and crisis. Central theme is Harmony of Religions.

Vedanta asks a Christian to be a true Christian a Hindu a true Hindu, a Buddhist a true Buddhist, and Muslim a true Muslim.

The Relevance of Swamijis Preaching

In the era of Bush & Laden,

Will Swamiji's preaching be a solution?

YES...
Truth, purity and unselfishness- wherever these are present , there is no power below or above the sun to crush the possessor thereof . Equipped with these, one individual is able to face the whole universe in opposition.

CONCLUSION Swami Vivekanandas main concern was to help individuals to grow and evolve ; to develop an all-round personality. To develop an all round personality means to develop a strong body, strong mind, clear conscience and spiritual consciousness .
