But not only positive but negative effects as well: Factories created pollution as well as the steam engine. Many people lost their jobs being replaced with machines. People became lazy depending on the machines to do all the work for them.

This has created one of the worlds greatest issues, global warming. Waste- In every household creates a large amount of rubbish that eventually becomes land fill in the dumps. Recycling has now become a massive issue in our modern society. In Australia we are already in the process of recycling.

In summary the long and short term negative effects have severely injured our society. In conclusion the inventions and machinery the industrial revolution has brought with it had influenced and inspired our world amazingly and was a memorable time in our history.
