WHITEY BULGER'S LIFE BEFORE BEING A MOBSTER


James Joseph Whitey Bulger was the son of James Bulger Sr. Born in 1929, Bulger was raised in South Boston. He got his nickname " Whitey" from his really light blond hair. Whitey committed his first crime of stealing at age 14. From there, he committed numerous crimes such as assault, battery and larceny which landed him in Juvenile Hall for 5 years. After he got out, he joined the Air Force where he also served time for being AWOL. When he got out in 1952, he received honorable discharge and went back to Boston to continue his life of crime.

Whitey Bulger's life During and after being a mobster


James Whitey Bulger was the most wanted man in America after Osama Bin since 1999, and became #1 after Bin Ladens death. He started his life of crime at age 14 when he got arrested for stealing. Before his arrest in 2011 at Santa Monica, CA Bulger was wanted 19 murders, money laundering, extortion, and drug dealing. Bulger was an FBI informant, he was giving information about the Patriarca crime family. The Patriarca crime family also known as the New England Crime family, was a mafia family who rivaled whitey's gang. in 1956 he got 9 years in prison for being associated with several bank robberies from Rhode Island to Indiana. over 16 years he controlled a big portion of boston's drug dealing. him and his girlfriend Catherine Greig were hiding until they got arrested in 2011 at Santa Monica,CA.

How I contributed?
Isis: In this project, I did slides 5-8 (the facts and pictures), half of slide 4 (one fact, both pictures) and Question 2 for the Test. I also transferred all original work from a Powerpoint Document to here, to make it easier for us to work on, and cited sources 1-3. Phillip: In this project, I worked on research on Whitey's life before he was a criminal. I also worked on the 5th question on the test. I helped Godson with research with his life during and after being a criminal as well. Godson: In this project, i worked with Phillip on the description before he was a mobster. I also did the description after he was a mobster. I added one fact and one question, i also put 2 pictures in it. i am the one who made the background.
