Acceptance Criteria
Acceptance criteria for a cluster is based on both KPI & Drive Plots.
Acceptance Criteria - Page NO :1 cont (S.NO -1) Average Forward Link RLP Throughput :
The forward link Throughput is the achievable throughput of AT & it should be sufficiently high to ensure the system capacity is maximized. Measurement: Drive test Value (FTP) Pass criteria: The average Forward link throughput value at RLP Layer has to be greater than 700 kbps for a Cluster. Also ensure, near by the site good throughput values should be obtained.
Acceptance Criteria - Page NO :1 cont (S.NO -2) Average Reverse Link RLP Throughput :
The Reverse link Throughput is the achievable throughput of AT & it should be sufficiently high to ensure the system capacity is maximized. Measurement: Drive test Value (FTP) Pass criteria: The average Reverse link throughput value at RLP Layer has to be greater than 325 kbps for a Cluster. Also ensure, near by the site good throughput values should be obtained.
Acceptance Criteria - Page NO :1 cont (S.NO -3) AT Initiated Connection Setup Success Rate :
AT Initiated connection setup Success Rate is defined as connection initiated by the necessity to transmit data from the AT to the AN. This is a successful connection setup.
Measurement: Drive test Value through Ping Test Pass criteria: The AT initiated Connection Setup Success Rate has to be greater than
or equal to 97% for a cluster.
Acceptance Criteria - Page NO :1 cont (S.NO -6) Connection Drop Rate: The connection drop rate provides insight into
areas of poor or no RF coverage and RNC PDSN issues. The dropped connection rate is equal to the total number of dropped data connection divided by the mean call holding
time of 60 Sec.
Measurement: Drive test Value Pass criteria: The Connection Drop Rate has to be less than to 2% for a cluster.
CDR = {Total number of dropped connections/(Total FTP Download duration/
60sec)}*100
The patches where Ec/Io is >= -7 db, positive values of SINR (at least above 2 db)
should be obtained. Large number of positive bins has to be obtained in cluster specially near the site.
Look for poor Receive power areas & do optimization accordingly. Legends will be
similar to CDMA
3A form Page NO :2 cont. Active Set Size Distribution ( Pilot Above threshold >= -7db):
Active set size can reveal the areas of pilot pollution. Since T_ADD for EVDO is -7db, more Pilots at particular location above this value will lead to pilot pollution. Measurement: Drive test (FTP) Pass Criteria:
The Active set size should be less than 3 for 80% of bins.
The Average Active set size should be between 1.6 & 1.8
can achieve optimal forward link data performance. Note: Throughput reflected in DRC Distribution plot is always higher than the actual throughput received at RLP in Forward Link.

3A form Page NO :2 cont. Multi Way Handoff Distribution (Number of pilots in handoff):
Max Number of Pilots in Handoff for EVDO is 3. Unlike CDMA, in EVDO T_ADD threshold value is -7db due to which few pilots (2 to 3) will be having Ec/Io better than threshold value.
Pass criteria:
The average Forward link throughput value at RLP Layer has to be greater than 700 kbps for a Cluster. Also ensure, near by each site good throughput values should be obtained.
