Online crime report project is useful for police department for handling information of criminals and allowing information to public. Using this application can help police stations to organize data more efficiently and deal with cases in less time. Citizens can register with this application to register case through online process which saves time and improve quality of service and gain faith on police department. In existing system manual method is used where people should find local police station and file complaint and should regularly visit station to know status of there case.

In general people in India are afraid to give a complaint in police station because they are filled with a false fear about the police department. An online complaint registration system will solve the fear of the public and which also helps police department catching criminals and taking appropriate action.

This project is very usable for the citizen & our police department. The length of the crime is increasing continuously and proper solution of the crime is not given to the people .Crime is in everywhere, every place. The people who are afraid with the crime and scared from police does not report in police station .This project plan for those people whose scared they can report online direct to the police station according to area of police station . the online report can be submitted from anywhere .This project covers almost every field in which the user can complaint direct to the police station and can get the solution.

After analyzing the requirements of the task to be performed, the next step is to analyze the problem and understand its context. The first activity in the phase is studying the existing system and other is to understand the requirements and domain of the new system. Both the activities are equally important, but the first activity serves as a basis of giving the functional specifications and then successful design of the proposed system.

The waterfall model is the oldest and most widely used model in the field of software development. There are certain advantages of this model, which makes it, one of the most widely used models as yet. Some of them are: Being a linear model, it is very simple to implement. The amount of resources required to implement this model are minimal. Documentation is produced at every stage of the software's development. This makes understanding the product designing procedure, simpler. After every major stage of software coding, testing is done to check the correct running of the code.

An online solution is very useful as the solution is inherently distributive. This distributive characteristic of the online solution helps in getting the different police stations to share information and get in contact with one another.

User can report Online. User can view the status of his complaint. This project offers user to enter the data through simple and interactive forms. This is very helpful for the user for interaction.

We will develop app by which the user can report online easily. We will develop SMS alert for Iphone and Smart phone by which user can report from the mobile. Communication between user and Employee.

It has been a great pleasure for me to work on this exciting and challenging project. This Project will be very beneficial for the client or the user to interact with police.
