Diabetes
Diabetes is a condition in which the levels of glucose in

the blood (blood sugar) are too high. The two main types of diabetes are type 1 (formerly known as juvenile diabetes) and type II (formerly known as adult-onset diabetes). Type II can develop at any age, but usually can be managed with diet.

Heart Diseases
Heart disease is a broad term that includes any

medical condition that affects the heart. Heart disease is common in men, women and children. If left untreated or undiagnosed, many heart conditions can lead to premature death.

High Blood Pressure

While there are a few physical signs of high blood pressure, it is often diagnosed while getting your blood pressure measured. Here's how to know if you have high blood pressure.
If you seeing white flashes sometimes described as lightening or stars

get help immediately If you are experiencing headaches, this may been a sign of high blood pressure If you are particularly stressed, your blood pressure may be elevated

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (excess fat and inflammation in the liver of people who drink little or no alcohol):
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is a common condition

where fat accumulates in your liver even though you drink little alcohol or none at all. Usually it does not cause any symptoms.

Osteoarthritis (a health problem causing pain, swelling, and stiffness in one or more joints)
Arthritis is a joint disorder causing pain, stiffness and

inflammation of one or more joints. According to the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion

Colon cancer
Colon cancer, also known as colorectal cancer, is a

disease characterized by malignant growths in a person's colon, appendix and rectum.

Endometrial Diseases
The endometrium is the mucous membrane lining of

the uterus. It is sometimes referred to as the endometrial stripe because it shows up as a dark stripe on transvaginal ultrasound

Endometrial Hyperplasia
A thickened endometrial stripe may indicate

hyperplasia, an overgrowth of the lining of the uterus beyond the normal thickness

Endometrial Cancer
Though a thickened endometrial stripe is seen with

endometrial cancer, it is not by itself indicative of cancer. A stripe greater than 5 millimeters is suggestive of hyperplasia, and it is the evaluation of the hyperplasia that will indicate whether cancer is a possibility.

Kidney Diseases
The kidneys are a filtering organ. When they are

impaired, many diseases can develop. The two main causes of kidney diseases are hypertension and diabetes.

Hypertension and Kidney Disease

Hypertension is one the leading causes of kidney

disease. In hypertension (or high blood pressure), the blood flows through the vessels and arteries with too much pressure or force.

Stroke Diseases
A stroke is a malfunction of the brain when blood

supply to the brain is either cut off, or extensive internal bleeding in the cranial region does not allow enough blood to reach the brain.

Narrowing Stroke
The first way that a stroke can happen is through the

narrowing of the arteries. Your arteries act as a transportation system throughout your body. One of the main life-giving elements that your arteries transport is oxygen.

Clotting Stroke
Clotting is one of the most common causes of a stroke.

This type of stroke can be either thrombus or embolus, depending on where the blood clot decides to form.

Bleeding Stroke
Another way a stroke can happen is if an artery in or

surrounding the brain bursts. This is usually caused by an increase in internal artery pressure either from high blood pressure or a birth defect in the artery.

Tumor Stroke
The final reason a stroke may happen is through a

tumor or other swelling in the brain caused by infection. Once the tumor or swelling grows, it can cause pressure to be applied to the surrounding arteries.

Insomnia
Insomnia or sleeplessness has assumed alarming

proportions in present times, especially among the upper classes in urban areas. This is evident from the wide range of medication for this condition prescribed by physicians and sold by chemists.

Comorbidites Disorder
The word "co morbid" is used to describe secondary or

tertiary illnesses or disorders that exist in a person in addition to a primary illness. For example, drug addiction is often said to be comorbid with other mental illnesses.

Charlson Index
The Charlson index is used to predict the likelihood of

one-year mortality (that is, death within one year) in a patient with comorbid disorders. It uses 19 categories of comorbidity to calculate a patient's score; the higher the score, the more likely it is that the patient will not survive the year.

Mental Illness
One of the most common types of comorbidity is that

between drug addiction and other mental disorders. In some users, drug use uncovers latent symptoms of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression.

High Blood Cholesterol

High blood cholesterol clogs arteries and increases

your risk for a stroke. It can also lead to heart disease.

Hypoglycemia
The symptoms of hypoglycemia can come on

suddenly: dizziness, sweating, pounding heart and others. If you experience these symptoms, you know that your blood sugar has taken a nosedive.

Prostate Disorder
The prostate is a gland found below the bladder in

men. It surrounds the urethra, a tube that transports urine away from the bladder. It also ensures urine and semen travel in the appropriate direction and produces prostatic fluid. As a man ages, disorders can develop.

Stress
The term stress has been borrowed by biologists from

engineering, where it implies an ability to withstand a defined amount of strain. Dr. Hans Selye, a great medical genius and noted world authority on stress, has described stress as " a state manifested by a specific syndrome which consists of all the nonspecifically induced changes within a biological system.

Asthma
Asthma is a chronic illness that affects a person's

airways. The airways are vital because they carry the air in and out of your lungs. Asthma is a very common disease and affects approximately 22 million people in the United States alone.

Liver Disease
Compared to healthy-weight patients, overweight and

obese patients with abdominal fat distribution experience higher rates of hospitalization and death due to cirrhosis.37% of asymptomatic morbidly obese patients have histological non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (compared with 3% in the general population) and 91% have steatosis (compared with 20% in the general population)

Mortality
Obesity is associated with excess mortality. BMI is a

strong predictor of overall mortality with most of the excess mortality likely to be causal and due to vascular disease.

Pregnancy/birth complications
A meta-analysis demonstrated a significant

relationship between increasing obesity and increased odds of Caesarean section and instrumental deliveries, hemorrhage, infection, longer duration of hospital stay and increased neonatal intensive care requirement.
