RECRUITMENT
Job Description & Person Specification
The job description should accurately reflect the elements of the post. The person specification should state both the essential and desirable criteria in terms of skills, aptitudes, knowledge and experience for the job.

Advertising
In general, all positions are normally be advertised within the University. This will help maximize equality of opportunity and provide staff with opportunities for career development, thus maintaining the skills and expertise of existing staff.

SELECTION Short listing


The short listing process involves a detailed review of experience, skills and attributes specified, against open positions. Applicants proceed to short list only if they meet and/or exceed all minimum specified requirements.

Interview and Assessment


short listed applicants will be invited to a personal interview. Conduct skills assessments, as well as a psychometric evaluation, depending on the nature of the position.

Offer of Employment
Based on the applicant's performance during the interview, the hiring manager will make a decision as to whether or not to extend an offer. Successful applicants will be contacted by the recruitment team and given a conditional offer of employment
