(a) For Mfg. Activity
Micro : Investment in Plant & Machinery up to Rs.25 Lakh. Small : Investment in Plant & Machinery more than Rs.25 Lakhs but up to Rs.5 Crores. Medium: Investment in Plant & Machinery is more than Rs.5 Crores but up to Rs.10 Crores

(a) For Service Activity
Micro Small : Investment in equipments up to Rs.10 Lakh. : Investment in equipments is more than Rs.10 Lakhs but up to Rs.2 Crores.

Medium : Investment in equipments is more than Rs.2 Crores but up to Rs.5 Crores

1. Techno - Managerial

Consultancy

Chemical, Food, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical & Electronics, Leather & Footwear, Glass & Ceramics etc. Project selection Availability of Plant & Machinery and Raw Materials Project Profiles are also made available to the Entrepreneurs.

2. Industrial Management Consultancy
Entrepreneurs are guided and trained in the field of Export Marketing Marketing Management Financial Management HRD Retail Management Business Management etc.

3. Economic Investigation
District Industrial Potential Survey (DIPS) Reports are prepared by the Institute along with State Profile, which is of great help in selection of projects.

4. Development of Ancillary Units
Institute helps Micro & Small Enterprises in getting ancillary status by identifying the requirements of components & spares etc. of PSUs and Large Scale Industries and arranges Buyer Seller Meet cum Industrial Exhibition.

5. Government Purchase Programme Institute recommends for Single Point NSIC registration under Govt. Purchase Programme. After this registration : Units are exempted from payment of EMD & Security deposits Tenders forms are made available free. 15% Price preference is given to NSIC registered units over LSIs.

6. Export Assistance
Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME, New Delhi is participating in International Exhibitions. Institute selects the units in Vidarbha region for their participation in these exhibitions. An entrepreneur can visit a country, where M/o MSME is participating once in a year & can avail Air fare and Stall rent subsidy limited up to Rs 1.25 lakhs.

7. ISO Reimbursement Scheme

To promote Micro & Small Enterprises to go for ISO certification so that they can compete in the Global Market.
Under this scheme 75% of the expenditure or Rs.75000/-, which ever is less is reimbursed.

8. National Awards The Ministry of MSME presents National Awards Early for Entrepreneurship, R & D and Quality Consciousness to outstanding MSMEs with a view to recognize their efforts and contribution.

9.Cluster Development Programme
The Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India has adopted the cluster development approach as a key strategy for enhancing the productivity and competitiveness as well as Capacity building of Micro and Small Enterprises and their collectives in the country.

What is a Cluster
A cluster is a group of Enterprises located within an identifiable and as far as possible, contiguous area and producing same /similar products / services.

(a) Similarity or Complimentarity in the methods of production, Q.C. and testing, energy consumption, pollution control etc.

a. Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programmes (ESDPs)
Institute organizes ESDPs to help the prospective entrepreneurs in starting their own enterprises. These programmes are of six weeks duration.

This scheme has ten constituents

1. Marketing Support Through Bar Code Under this scheme 75 % of the expenditure towards One time Registration Fee and Annual Fee is reimbursed Registration Fees :Rs.25,000 35,000 Annual Fee :Rs.6000

2. Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development through incubators Under this scheme each BI is expected to help 10 new / innovative ideas Implemented in a PPP mode.

3. Setting up Mini Tool Rooms and Training Centres Objective is to provide technological support to MSMEs Financial support 90% of the cost of machinery, max 9 crores.

5. Lean Manufacturing Programme
The objective of the scheme is reducing waste, increasing productivity, introducing innovative practices for improving overall competitiveness 7 culture of continuous improvement by oraganising awareness programmes in clusters. Nodal Agency : National Productivity Council, New Delhi.

6. Quality Management Standards (QMS) and Quality Technology Tools (QTT):
The objective of the scheme is to encourage MSEs to adapt latest QMS and QTT

7. Technology & Quality Up gradation Support to MSMEs (TEQUP): Under the scheme 75 % (Rs.1.5 lakh) of the expenditure by MSEs is reimbursed by our office.

8. Marketing Assistance and Technology Up gradation (a) Through participation in State level /

District level fairs: (i) For Gen category 50 % of Stall charges + 50 % of travelling expenses, max. Rs.20,000/- per fair. (ii) For SC/ST/Women / PH 80 % of Stall charges + 80 % of travelling expenses, max. Rs.30,000/- per fair.

(b) Corporate Governance Practices
To introduce system of Corporate Governance to ensure transparency and accountability of the management.
50 % expenses towards associated Consultancy charges, Statutory Fees, max. up to 45,000 will be reimbursed.

(c) Reimbursement Towards ISO 18000 / 22000 / 27000 certification

Under the scheme 75 % of the expenditure, max. Rs.1 Lakh per unit is reimbursed.

(d) Special Component for NE Region
Exposure to National Exhibition, participation , Displaying Products and sponsoring MSME Entrepreneurs from NER to selected exhibitions.
(i) 80% of Stall charges Total Rs. (ii) 80% To & Fro travel (IIAC) 75,000 (iii) 80% of transport charges for max per carrying goods, max,Rs.15,000/- unit.

9. Promotion of ICT ( Information and Communication Technology) Interventions:

The objective of the scheme is to extend the support of basic ICT infrastructure to MSMEs clusters viz. developing web portals for clusters, Skill Development of MSME staff in ICT application, local software solutions to MSMEs, construction of e-commerce, e-catalogue etc.

10. Design Clinics The main objective of the scheme is to bring the MSME sector and design expertise in to a common plate form. Nodal Agency: National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad.
