Successful Romanian Entrepreneurs

We are going to talk about successful Romanian entrepreneurs,because everybody needs to have an example in their career. In Romania there are a lot of business people,but few crossed the border and are known in other countries. The biggest companies are run by people that made small but sure steps in their career.

Florin Talpes

In 1990, togheter with his wife, Mariuca Talpes, Florin founded Softwin,the biggest company of software solutions and services in Romania.

After 11 years,they put up BitDefender company, which is present in over 100 countries.
This year, ConsumerSearch named BitDefender Internet Security 2011 better against malware, phisical and spam, than his competitor Norton Antivirus; in spite of that Norton costs less than BitDefender. BitDefender has launched the BitDefender Mobile Security, an application for mobile phones.

The fact that Romanians are good at mathematics and computing,was the best way to promote and develop the company.

About 30% of the 500 employees are olympics at mathematics,computing and physics.
In present, BitDefender is worth at least 150 million dollars.
This year, Florin is participating in Lions Arena program.

Zoltan Teszari

Teszari went into business in 1990,when he was 20 years old, with a simple ice-cream stand. Togheter with his friend,Ludesher Csaba,established the company Rubin&King. Step by step,they moved to imports of ice-cream powder and
cones Then moved to the television business.

In parallel with the development of Rubin&King,Teszari founded a company who imported cables and electronic components The boom has been in 1995,when businessman took the TVS and established the RCS(Romanian Cable System).In 1998 he established the RDS(Romanian Data System) In 2004 he launched in Romania Digi TV,and in 2005 he launched it in Hungary,too. In 2010, RCS&RDS had a turnover of 410 million euro.

In 2010 RCS and RDS has become one company of television,internet and voice.

RCS&RDS has 50% of distribution market.

Now the company have 5800 employees. If the most businessman have been affected by the crizes,Teszari knew how to manage his business so as to increase his property,reaching the 14th place 10th place in the top of the richest Romanians.

Camelia Sucu

In 2007, Camelia Sucu became the richest woman after she sold the actions of Mobexpert. She holds the furniture company Class Living,and she is also involved in real estate.

In 2010 she bought with 4,5 million euro the Gros Market which is in Berceni.
Class Living, has a shop in Pipera where they sell medium and high price products

Designer segment has been relocated in a new space, called Iqonique Class Studio. Camelia plans to open a medical cosmetic center. Also she wants to restore the Ana Aslan Center. In present, she has 70 million euro.

Conclusions

If you have a great ideea,do everything to make it real.A great company is built in time with persons that know what they want and where they want to be.
Build your way with your skills. Be sure that the way to success is not easy,but if you know what decissions to take on the right time,you will go on top.
