We believe that companies have a responsibility to look at their economic, social and environmental impact, to share their findings with others and to drive ongoing improvements in each of these important areas of focus.

The planet is our home, and Moodys minimizes its footprint by supporting recycling and energyefficiency programs. Outside Moodys offices, the company encourages and supports eco-volunteerism. In addition, The Foundation contributes to a sustainable world by offering disadvantaged persons, primarily women, the ability to attain financial independence through entrepreneurship.

Moodys Mega Math Challenge is an online competition that awards $100,000 in scholarship prizes to teams of high school students interested in math related fields. The Euro Challenge awards scholarships to teens with interests in economic and foreign policy. The Autism360 program through the Moodys Foundation helps match children with autism to new treatments and research. Over $150,000 donated to Save the Children for disaster relief in Asia and Haiti. Moodys matches up to $5,000 in charitable donations per employee per year

Moodys supports global economic development in order to create sustainable management systems for global resources. Currently in process of creating a rating systems for Microfinance Institutions like Kiva to encourage investors (this work is being done pro bono). Supports leadership and education programs in New York and London to raise the next generation of responsible leaders.
