Batch Search Strategy:While issuing the goods for process order or production order, batch number of components can be searched through Batch search strategy. Batch Number can be searched based on any characteristic value

Terminologies in Batch Management

Condition Technique (Condition Table):System searches the batch through predefine tables in a sequence which are known as condition table and Access sequence. Condition table specifies the fields combination to be searched. Condition table is defined in the configuration.

Condition record contains the value to which the batch is to be searched. Condition record is a Master Data.

BATCH MANAGEMENT IN DIFFERENT MODULES

Batch Management in MM

Materials Master (Purchase view) must have a Batch Management active to the materials which are to be handled in Batches. Batch classification containing characteristics will be assigned with the material master in Classification view.

Shelf life details are maintained in Storage1 view with shelf life period.

Batch Management in PP
