What If.?

To Dream The Impossible Dream

 What if you had a dream that was so big and so beyond you that even you, much less your family, have a hard time believing?

 What if someone has a problem so great that they cannot solve it nor do they even see it, but YOU have been raised up for the purpose of solving their problem.

 What if on your way to solve someone elses problem YOU got wrongfully accused and thrown into prison for some 14 years awaiting your destiny to be fulfilled.

 So Jacob dwelt in the land in which his father had been a stranger and sojourner, in the land of Canaan. Gen.37:1 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children because he was the son of his old age, and he made him a [distinctive] long tunic with sleeves. Vs.3

 Now Joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers, and they hated him still more. Vs.5 When Joseph had come to his brothers, they stripped him of his [distinctive] long garment which he was wearing..vs.23

 And the Midianites [and Ishmaelites] sold [Joseph] in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and the captain and chief executioner of the [royal] guard. Vs. 36

 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to flourish and succeed in his hand. So Joseph pleased [Potiphar] and found favor in his sight, and he served himand made him supervisor over his house and he put all that he had in his charge. Gen.39:1-4

 Then after a time his masters wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, and she said, Lie with me. But he refused and said to his masters wife, See here, with me in the house my master has concern about nothing; he has put all that he has in my care. He is not greater in this house than I am; nor has he kept anything from me except you, for you are his wife. How then can I do this great evil and sin against God? 7-9

 And when [Josephs] master heard the words of his wife, saying to him, This is the way your servant treated me, his wrath was kindled. And Josephs master took him and put him in the prison, But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison. And the warden of the prison committed to Josephs care all the prisoners who were in the prison; and whatsoever was done there, he was in charge of it, for the Lord was with him and made whatever he did to prosper. Vs. 19-23

Can you relate to Josephs dream and his period of deep processingwhen he was forced to deal with a long season of contradictions and disappointments? Can you relate to the development of patience as this deep processing tested his faith, his hopes, and his dreams?

 Again, I ask, could it be that God is grooming you to be an answer to somebodys problem, to a city, to a region, or perhaps a nation. You are not just fighting for your destiny but many whom you may not even know. The world has many, many Carol Kornackis BUT what we need is MORE Linda Smiths!

 What if you were born Albert McKakin? A farm hand from Charlotte North Carolina. Loved Jesus, quietly went about his business but saw a kid with a problem. Prayed for him, invited him to a revival led by Mordecai Ham.

Remember Josephs words to Pharaoh? Pharaoh had a problem In dream sees fat years and lean Advises Pharaoh to get all the storehouses he can and devises a plan to lay up 1/5th of harvest. Pharaoh sees Joseph as the answer to his problem and in time Josephs dream is fulfilled!

 Now, Joseph's advice is a message for us today Our storehouses are not banks, not in hiding from the coming storm. Ours are PEOPLE! Laid up inside of people is the grain to save this generation. Your storehouse is the temple of God, made up of living stones!

 These make up a relational structure. Literally, your relationships HOUSE YOUR FUTURE! Your Provision! God has assignments for you that depend on you BUILDING relationships. Why do you think the enemy tries to tear down every relationship in your life?

 This is what is meant by the power of life and death in your tongue! We need to realize that the most important thing we can do is BUILD relationships and stop tearing down each other, because that person your tearing down today, may have the answer to your problem tomorrow!
