Payment of Wages Act, 1936 Section 2 (vi) any reward of settlement and production bonus, if paid, constitutes wages. Minimum Wages Act, 1948, retrenchment compensation, payment in lieu of notice and gratuity payable on discharge constitute wages. When the salary Reached Rs. 19500/- than its annual increment will be Rs. 600/- as shown in payscale i.e. 19500-600-23700 and here the next level is Rs. 23700/when the salary reached Rs. 23700/- than what ever the next increment stated will be applied.
