IT WAS AN IMPROBABLE QUEST

Coming from a tropical country with no snow, no high icy mountains and no alpine tradition.

NO ONE BELIEVED IT CAN BE DONE

At the start, nobody wanted to be associated with the project. Others even discouraged us point-blank: Are you going to commit suicide?

IT STARTED AS A DREAM
to plant the Philippine Flag at the summit of Mt. Everest. Now that the flag waves proudly at the summit, the Voyage of the Balangay is another DREAM that would soon become REALITY

But WE Can Not Do It Alone

We need a helping hand to re-create and share these glorious historical experience to our people

By challenging everyone to join us in this EPIC VOYAGE

And by sailing together

We can pass on to future generations the proud heritage of our forefathers

In order to inculcate deep sense of PATRIOTISM and LOVE OF COUNTRY.
