AMONG THE TWO OPTIONS i.e. YES AND NO, WE COME TO KNOW THAT 48% HAVE AGREED THAT SECURITY CHECKING IS TIME CONSUMING AND FEEL HESITANT AND DONOT WANT TO WASTE TIME IN IT DURING THEIR PEAK OF BUSY SCHEDULE. THEY MAY ALSO COMMENT THAT SECURITY CHECKING IS NOT DONE IN BUSES, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A REGULAR AND MOST CROWDED MEANS OF TRANSPORT AND YET EVERYTHING IS FINE TO THE FATE. HENCE IT IS ALSO NOT REQUIRED IN METRO, AFTERALL THERE ARE SECURITY CAMERAS ALWAYS UNDER SURVEILLANCE. THE REST 52% OF THE RESPONDENTS FEEL THAT SECURITY CHECKING IS NECESSARY TO AVOID MISHAPPENINGS LIKE ROBERRY, PICKPOCKETS, TERRORISM ATTACKS etc. THIS IS WHY TRAVELLING IN METRO IS TAGGED AS THE SAFEST MEANS OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT AMONG ALL.

HERE, 78% OF RESPONDENTS FEEL THAT TRAVELLING IN METRO IS SAFE. THE TAG OF SAFETY ALIGNED WITH METRO IS PARTLY CONTRIBUTED BY THE ABOVE CRITERIA OF FOLLOWING SECURITY CHECK SYSTEM. SINCE, THE METRO RUNS ON RAILS EXCLUSIVELY AND DOES NOT FACE ANY HURDLES FROM OTHER VEHICLES CREATING TRAFFIC JAMS OR ACCIDENTS, THE SAFETY LEVEL IS INCREASED. THE REST 22% FEEL THAT STILL IT IS NOT SAFE INCASE OF EVENTS SUCH AS SUDDEN BREAKDOWN OF METRO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAVEL WHERE THERE ARE NO OTHER ACCESS TO ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT MODES OR MEETING WITH ACCIDENT DUE TO OTHER METROS IN-LINE AND NO TIME COORDINATION WHICH MAY RESULT IN DISASTER.

METRO FEEDERS ARE THE BUSES WHICH GO ALONG MANY AREAS AND PICK UP PASSENGERS THOSE WHO WANT TO TRAVEL IN METRO. SINCE, THE METRO IS SITUATED ONLY IN FEW MAJOR PLACES, PEOPLE FROM OTHER AREAS WHO ARE INACCESSIBLE TO METRO DIRECTLY ARE PROVIDED WITH THE SERVICE OF THESE BUSES WHICH ACT AS FEEDERS TO METRO. THIS IS TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO CHOOSE METRO AND HAVE FLEXIBLE ACCESS TO IT THOUGH BEING DISTANCED FROM IT. IT IS ONE OF THE PROMOTIONAL TOOL AND ADDS TO WELFARE OF PUBLIC NOW, PEOPLE WHO HAVE AVAILED THE SERVICES OF METRO FEEDERS REGULARLY AND UNINTERRUPTEDLY HAVE COMMENTED GOOD ON IT. EQUALLY THE ONES WHO HAVE NOT AVAILED ITS SERVICES OR ARE YET UNAWARE OF IT OR HAD EXPECTED BUT NOT RECEIVED ITS SERVICES HAVE COMMENTED TO BE UNSATISFACTORY. THE EXCELLENT AND SATISFACTORY PARAMETERS ALSO HAVE SIGNIFICANCE WHICH MAKES THE CONCLUSION ABOUT METRO FEEDERS TENDING TO BE FAVOURABLE,WHICH MEANS IT IS USEFUL AND ARE PERFORMING ITS SERVICES AS EXPECTED.

The up coming metro project has a lot of destination almost 40 stations starting from Bayappahalli in the east to Mysore road in west , Nagasandra from North to puttenahalli in the south there fore we can understand that there is sufficient station which make the journey easy as it covers almost all the places the maximum speed of Namma Metro is 80Kmph and minimum speed is 34kmph there is a frequency of metro for every 15 minutes so we can predict that when there is a completion of the project it will surely satisfy location and the destination sufficiency

At the end of the project we can interpret that majority of the sample population is satisfied with the transport facility . There is tremendous changes that we can see around with improvement in standard of living . We can also see that there is women empowerment as the drivers of Namma Metro is a trained women specialist . The biggest advantage is that it will make your travel more comfortable and will also save your time. .

Advantages are that having a metro shows that the city has 'developed' and is 'modern'. Also, hopefully, when more people being using the metro there will be less traffic jams on the road, and less pollution.
