Who invented the pin hole camera?

Alhazen who was a Muslim scientist, polymath, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher. He was the first man to invent the pin hole camera. He made this public news when he published the first ever idea called Book of Optics in 1021 AD. However he improved the camera when he discovered the smaller the pinhole camera the sharper the image will become.

William Henry Fox Talbot

Talbot was born 1800 and died in 1877. He was the first man to invent the calotype process. Which is a precursor to develop photographic process which gives you visual images that he used as a portfolio. The calotype process is when the pictures are taken by the sun to create light and give you a visual image on paper. This develops his work and was used in the Royal Institution.

Johann Heinrich Schulze

Johann Heinrich Schulze is best known for discovering that certain silver salts, most notably silver chloride and silver nitrate, darkening light for using the effects to capture temporary images. In an experiment conducted in 1724 he determined that a mixture of silver and chalk reflects less light than untarnished silver.

James Clerk Maxwell

James Clerk Maxwell is known for presenting the first durable colour photograph in 1861 and for his foundational work on analysing the rigidity of rodand joint frameworks like the ones in many bridges.

Edward James Muybridge

Edward James Muybridge was an English photographer best known for his studies of motion and in motion-picture projection. He is also known for his pioneering work on animal locomotion in 1877 and 1878, which he used multiple cameras to capture motion in stop motion photographs.

Alex Stoddard
Alex Stoddard was born in 1993 in Jacksonville, Florida and spent his childhood growing up in the Deep South. He began taking self-portraits at the age of sixteen in the woods behind his home, and this stirred in him the need to create and express himself through photography. His work focuses on the human form and the process of showing it to its natural surroundings. Alex is currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is a new photographer who has recently become popular. He is 19 years old. I currently shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II and 50mm f/1.4 + 85mm f/1.8. Equipment doesnt matter as much as people think. I could still create the same caliber of work with a cheaper camera. It would still have all of the elements that make it successful, but rather it just would be a bit less on the technical side
