 Neil and Francis have
collected 9,855 mangoes
from their grove. They
plan to put the mangoes in
baskets for display in their
fruit store. If they put 7
mangoes in each basket,
how many left over, would
their be?
How can this be solved?
Lets divide the total nos. of
mangoes collected by 7 and
9 and see if there will be
leftover mangoes!
If mangoes will placed in a
basket, therefore, there will
be 6 mangoes left. And, if
there will be 9 mangoes in
each, no mangoes will left.
Is there an easy way to find
out the answer? Yes, by
using divisibility test.
This will help us find out if a
certain number can be
divided by another number.
Just simply follow the rules.
