Quality Centre categorizes your Test using Domain and Projects A Domain is an independent business software department like ERP , CRM , Banking etc. Project is an independent software team under a given department. Example, for Banking domain there could be teams for net banking treasury wealth management etc The basic modules in Quality Center are Requirements tab ,Test Plan tab,Test Lab & Defects which are used most frequently

How to create requirements in QC

Click on New requirement tab and (alternatively we can click on requirements select new requirement) Click on new child requirement option (alternatively we can click on requirements select new child requirement)

After clicking on new requirement option ,New requirement window will open

Enter name of the requirement(suppose we are using some demo as an example, then name of requirement will Demo requiremnt) Then enter cover status,product,type etc)
Then write the description Click on submit button
