Acclamation

The congregation proclaims that faith is one of the four major acclamations; that is, Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Priest: The mystery of Faith: All: We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again.

Memorial Prayer
The Memorial Prayer asks that God will receive the sacrifice which brings salvation to the world again touching the moment of Jesus death two thousand years ago.

Invocation of the Holy Spirit

There is a second Epiclesis or Invocation of the Spirit - but this time for the people gathered in prayer - for us, that we might be changed by what we have celebrated.

Intercessions Prayer for the Church

We draw others into our Prayer with Intercessions - laying before God the needs of the Church on earth - of the world - and remember those who have died and look ahead ourselves to the day when we are enter into the communion of saints in heaven.

Concluding Doxology
Priest: Through him, with Him, and in
Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is Yours, Almighty Father, forever and ever. Amen. Reply: The Great Amen - An affirmation of praise

Communion Rites
The Communion is, for many, the highlight of the Mass - the moment when they receive the Body of Christ.

The Lords Prayer

The people offer praise to the Father in heaven and ask for their daily bread and forgiveness.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. (use the Doxology) - For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen..

Sign of Peace
The people offer sign of peace to everyone present.

Priest: Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles,

Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign for ever and ever. All: Amen. Priest: The Peace of the Lord be with you always. All: And with your spirit. Deacon or Priest: Let us offer each other a sign of peace.

Breaking of the Bread and Lamb of God

The priest breaks one bread so all may share in the same body. In biblical terms, the congregation asks mercy of christ our savior: lamb of god who takes away the sins of world, have mercy on us.

Communion
The congregation receives the food of salvation the bread of life.

Priest: Behold the Lamb of God,

behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Communion Minister: The body of

Christ.

Communicant: Amen.

Prayer after Communion

The priest prays in the name of all those present that they may live life of faith since they have been strengthened by Christ himself in this sacrament.

The priest blesses the congregation in the name of the most Holy Trinity

The mass ends with the priests exhortation for the people to go back to their homes and work and live their faith.
