Interior Architecture

Our aim 1: To learn the different interior styles stated on the brief being: Swedish (or scandi), New York Loft and then; Asian with English Garden. Our aim 2: To compile a design board on each style. Our objective 1: To develop a deeper understanding of the key elements that make a certain design style. Our objective 2: To apply your understanding of a selected design style.

Did you know. The style goes back over 200 years when King Gustav of Sweden redecorated his Stockholm palace.
Carl Larsson (1853-1919), Swedish artist, is generally credited with popularizing the Swedish style of decorating.

Interior architecture combines the study and practice of contemporary interior design with architecture. It explores how the interiors of buildings are inhabited, used and experienced. The discipline also explores how interiors of buildings can be changed to meet different needs and to express different functions
