Implication of Korean E-Learning

Korean E-Learning in public education is being well developed very rapidly with central government and regional government leading the way. However, E-Learning was driven forward too quickly, resulting in disparate concept between E-Learning policy and E-Learning in schools. There were lack of good quality contents, absence of teaching-learning model with the application of E-Learning in schools, and inadequate participations in E-Learning by teachers. Due to short period of development from ICT education to E-Learning and u-Learning, this sudden change brought insufficient time for medium & long term development plan. Therefore, we have invested in too much effort and cost to set up an E-Learning system, which are trial and error.

Each Nation has some difficulties

They know the merit of E-Learning well. But There are lots of difficulties in starting and expanding E-Learning.
1. Lack of PC Penetration 2. Network Insufficiency 3. Lack of Strategic Plan for efficient E-Learning Growth 4. Lack of E-Learning content. 5. Lack of understanding about E-Learning 6. Cost of E-Learning products are still high
