ADVENT TWO

PEACE

This second candle represents PEACE. Look at a beautiful sunset and see the peaceful scenery all due because of Gods creation.

Now take a look at the beauty of a calm ocean of water on a sunny day. The water looks peaceful and fun.

Imagine the silence of the night outside when the moon is full in the sky and the air is calm. This, too seems quiet and peaceful.

Think about how calm it was that night in the fields where the shepherds were watching their flock. The sheep were quiet and the night peaceful.

When to their surprise, angels appeared in the sky. They fell to the ground in fear.

The angels told them not to be afraid. Baby Jesus was born. Then, the angels sang a beautiful song of peace.

The shepherds then decided to go and visit Baby Jesus.

Peace is a wonderful gift from God. God loved us so much that He sent Baby Jesus to earth in order that we may have peace and go to heaven some day to be with Him forever.

HOW DO I GET THIS PEACE?

A - Admityou have sinned. B - BelieveJesus died for your sins. C - Confess your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you. It is HIS promise to do just that!
