Example 1: B-1 usage: The signal may be used for malicious call tracing. A subscriber receiving such calls may request special connection facilities whereby signal B-1 is sent instead of B-6 when a call is received and the subscriber is free. The originating register imposes a condition on the line which prevents the calling party clearing forward. If it is a normal call, the connection is cleared as soon as the called subscriber hangs up.
