Yogyakarta province government plan to make Kulon Progo coastal areas as megaproject site of iron-sand mining The conflict arouse as the manifestation of different perspective that happened between corporation and society at seeing megaproject This conflict affect to economical, political, social and cultural side of society

* this conflict is not affected by the resident that want to be employed by the corporation * furthermore, this conflict growing up to ecological and cultural conflict * ecological: abrasion, environment sustainability, post-mining effect, etc. * cultural: resident dependency to the area for more than two decades [intergeneration entanglement with the environment]

Resolution
Relocated the resident to the new place that fits their characteristics Optimalizing CSR to empowering resident around there Monitoring the exploitation and its impact to the society and environment. If they proved offend the rule, they have to chased away from the area and responsible to every damage they made.
