SET INDUCTION (5 minutes)


CONTENT: Create the word PICTOGRAPH by

identifying the first alphabet from the given pictures using power point.
T/L

ACTIVITIES:

1) Teacher shows the picture from power point one by one and the pupils named them. 2) Teacher ask the pupils to tell the first alphabet of the picture . 3) Pupils spell and say the word pictograf together.

STEP 1(10 minutes)

CONTENT:

Collect, Classify and organise data of flowers in my garden. (MyCD)

T/L ACTIVITIES:

1) Teacher guide the pupils to collect data and organised them into the table.

STEP 2 (10 minutes)

CONTENT:

Teacher teach pupils how to recognised the pictograph and describe them.(Text Books page 214 and 215.)

T/L ACTIVITIES:

1) Teacher guides the pupils to learn about pictograph. 2) Teacher emphasis that a pictograph: a) Shows information that easily be seen and compare. b) Pictograph should have pictures or symbols that represent number or quantities. c) Teacher compared the pictograph page 214 with is vertical form and horizontal form page 215.

CLOSURE (5 minutes)

CONTENT: Question and answer. T/L ACTIVITIES: Teacher conclude the leasson by asking question based on the pictograph flower in my garden. a) How many flowers in the garden? b) Which type of flower is more? c) Which type flower is less?
