The system provides the following alarm items: UE Disconnection, GPS Disconnection, SCANNER Disconnection, and Inadequacy of GPS Signal. You can select Visual Alarm or Audio Alarm for each alarm item.

You can set the time parameters of the GPS and the UTC time differences and determine whether to perform synchronization.
Select the Using GPS time to adjust PC time checkbox to use the UTC time of the GPS as the time of the operating system.
By setting the Time Zone parameter, you can convert the UTC time of the GPS into the local time of the user and use it as the time of the operating system.

Before conducting a test, you can set a sampling frequency for each device. After the sampling frequency is set, unnecessary and redundant data is significantly reduced, which saves time and system resources.
Select a device and select the concerned parameters in the filter. Then, choose to perform
sampling by time or by count.

A test project can be used for saving the personalized information about the operations performed by a test engineer on the system,
such as the position of a BTS file that is used, a map legend, a test
plan, LOGMASK setting, event log setting, alarm setting, window layout, and the self-defined parameters in a window. The test engineer can open the same test project in the next test. In this way, the time
for setting the same parameters can be saved, and the settings are
the same for the two tests.

Technical parameter view: chart view

A chart view can be displayed in time mode or realtime mode.
Time mode: Generally, time and parameter values
are displayed in a chart view. The X-axis indicates the time, and the Y-axis indicates the parameter values. In this mode, the history information about parameters can be displayed explicitly and continuously.
Real-time mode: Generally, Multiple parameters at
a time point are displayed in chart view. The X-axis indicates the multiple parameters, and the Y-axis indicates the values of these parameters. Technical parameter view: chart view

Set the chart GUI. The following describes some important properties:
Refresh Rate (ms): This property is used for setting a
refreshing rate of a chart view.

Bottom Axis Span (s): This property is used for setting
the span of the X-axis. This property takes effect only when a chart view is displayed in time mode. It indicates the time span (unit: second).
Step: This property is used for setting the minimum step.
You can enlarge a chart view to view the details. The chart view can be enlarged to the minimum-step level. The minimum step can be 0.001.

Technical parameter view: list view

A list view can be displayed in Row Type mode or Column Type mode.
Row Type: In this mode, multiple parameters are displayed
in a list, and each row indicates a different parameter. This mode is used for displaying and comparing multiple parameters.
Column Type: In this mode, multiple pieces of information
about one parameter are displayed in a list. The columns of the list indicate different fields of the parameter, and the rows indicate the values of all the fields.

Air interface messages can be displayed and analyzed in a signaling view. These messages include the UMTS RRC and NAS signaling and the GSM RR signaling. After a complete signaling process is performed, each unit of each message can be a basis for locating a problem.

Map view: outdoor test If a test map is provided, import the map first. The GENEX Probe supports a map in MapX format and a raster image. You can click Open Map to open a map in MapX format or click Raster Image to open a raster image. A BMP raster image is imported into a map as a layer of the map.

An indoor test can be a walking test or a vertical test. Walking test:
Automatic walking test
Before conducting an automatic walking test, you need to locate points on the test track on the map. When the user reaches a preset point after the test begins, the user only needs to press the space key. Then, the data obtained on the test track is automatically displayed on the map. An automatic walking test is very convenient to users.
Manual walking test
You do not need to locate points before conducting a manual walking test. On the test track, the user can manually locate the points that are considered to be important. The data between the last two points are automatically displayed on the map.

Vertical test: After starting a vertical test, you can click the up-arrow or down-arrow button on the navigation bar. If you click the up-arrow button, the current location goes up by one floor. If you click the down-arrow button, the current location goes down by one floor. According to time, the data between two points that indicate two different floors is automatically displayed on the map.

Window arrangement
The multiple-page mode is used for displaying data, and multiple windows can be opened at the same time. Only one page, however, is displayed, and the other pages are hidden. Multiple windows can be located on the same page, and the window arrangement function can be performed to arrange these windows. By performing this function, you can use multiple windows for displaying data at the same time. Thus, you can focus on the observation, tracking, and comparison of test data.
