Classification Of Energy
Renewable Non-renewable

Renewable energy resources can be replaced or regenerated and will never run out (at least not for a very long time). Examples: wind and solar.

Non-renewable energy resources will eventually run out once used they cannot be used again. Examples: coal and oil.

Non-renewable Energy

Oil

Natural Gas

Coal

Necessity for industrialized nations Over 85% of the energy used in the world is from non-renewable supplies. Most commonly used Non Renewable resources are Coal, oil, and natural gas.

Crude Oil/Petroleum

Builds up in liquid form between the layers of the Earths crust. Retrieved by drilling deep into the ground and pumping the liquid out. Liquid is then refined and used to create many different products. The top three oil-producing countries are Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

Several advantages compared with other fuels

The cost of natural gas extracting is significantly lower comparatively to other fuels; Gas burning does not pollute an atmosphere too much; During gas extracting working efficiency is much higher relatively to oil and coal production.

LPG (Liquid petroleum gas)

LPG is prepared by refining of petroleum or extracted from natural gas streams; Rural heating; Motor fuel; Production continues to grow at an average annual rate of 2.2%.

Future issues
Increasing waste and pollution will drive awareness and the need for cleaner, more efficient energy; Europe won't produce much shale gas over the next couple of decades. But shale gas production in the USA and China continues to increase, making these major economies more self-sufficient;

Gas prices could go down if there is a "significant expansion" of shale gas in Europe over the next couple of decades.

Coal

HISTORY OF COAL
Coal Originated from Ancient Plant that flourished in Swamp-like areas,Millions of years ago. Coal has been used for heating since the ancient time. Coal is one of the Worlds most Important Sources of Energy.

Coal Mining
There are two types of Coal Mining : Underground Mining: Has 2 methods of mining called room and pillar Mining and Long wall Mining Surface Mining: also known as Opencast or Open cost Mining
