What is a Major?
A major sequence consists of 48 points worth of units (subjects) Typical Structure of a Major: Year First Year Second Year Third Year Points Taken 12 18 18 or or or Points Taken 12 12 24

What is a Double Major?

A double major sequence in a science area of study comprises 72 points of science units in the same, or a closely-related, area of study with no more than 12 points of those units at level one and at least 36 points of those units at level three.

Bachelor of Environmental Science

Recommended biology unit sequence

1st Year BIO1011 and either BIO1022 or BIO1042 2nd Year: BIO2011, BIO2040 and one of BIO2022, BIO2050, BIO2181 or BIO2231 3rd Year: BIO3011, BIO3111 and one of BIO3021, BIO3052, BIO3082, BIO3091, BIO3122, BIO3820, or GEN3062
Important to check if a second year prerequisite is needed for 3rd year units. This applies for all disciplines and majors
