Air Pollutants
Air pollutants are particles that is in air such as carbon monoxide, chlorofluorocarbons(CFC), hydrocarbons, oxides of nitrogen and etc.
Cigarette smoke, car exhaust. Highly poisonous, reduce amount of oxygen in blood.
Industry, vehicles. Acidic- damage lung tissues.
Industry, vehicles Carcinogenic- cause cancer.
Emphysema occurs when the air sacs in your lungs are gradually destroyed, making you progressively more short of breath. Emphysema is one of several diseases known collectively as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Smoking is the leading cause of emphysema.
Asthma is a chronic (long-term) lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing a whistling sound when you breathe, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing. The coughing often occurs at night or early in the morning. Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from your lungs. Bronchitis may be either acute or chronic. Often developing from a cold or other respiratory infection, acute bronchitis is very common. Chronic bronchitis, a more serious condition, is a constant irritation or inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes, often due to smoking
4) Pneumonia
Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. The air sacs may fill with fluid or pus, causing cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills and difficulty breathing. A variety of organisms, including bacteria, viruses and fungi, can cause pneumonia. Pneumonia can range in seriousness from mild to lifethreatening. It is most serious for infants and young children, people older than age 65, and people with underlying health problems or weakened immune systems.
4) Use public public transports such as train, buses and LRT 5) Take part in tree-planting activities. 6) Install catalytic converters on vehicles. 7) Walk or cycle whenever possible.
2)Higher chimneys helps the emission to be released higher up in the atmosphere. 3)We can grow more trees. Higher chimneys helps the emission to be released higher. 4)Mining places should have more trees grown. 5) Having campaigns about environment
