LESSON 1: FREEHAND DRAWING

Lesson objectives - Students will be given drawing materials to use their imagination and draw or paint something of their choice. - Students feel more confident in their own particular styles of drawing and are encouraged to improve on their weaker points in drawing.

LESSON 2: DRAWING LINES AND SHAPES

Lesson objectives - Students will be taught the fundamentals of drawing lines and shapes and understanding perspectives. - Students will learn and understand how to use lines and shapes to create different artworks and perspective drawings

LESSON 3: SHADOW AND LIGHT FUNDAMENTALS Lesson objectives This lesson is to teach the fundamentals of how light falls on objects of different shape and size. Students are able to identify how light and shadows work in the context of different shapes and are able to relay this knowledge when drawing and painting

LESSON 4: STILL LIFE PAINTING

Lesson objectives Students will be given pencil, paper and watercolors to paint a selected set of objects. This lesson is to teach skills in observational drawing - drawing from life Students will develop a keen eye to identify values, shapes of objects and perspective.

LESSON 5: OBJECTS IN MOTION

Lesson objectives Students will learn about still objects and moving objects what are the differences between them. This lesson will teach about gravity and speed of things and how they are accomplished by the artists Students will get to learn how to capture the moment on paper

LESSON 6: WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUES

Lesson objectives - Students will be given drawing materials and watercolors during this lesson. - Students will learn on the ethics of using and caring for brushes, using watercolors with various techniques to bring different textures into their watercolor paintings.

LESSON 7: PRINTMAKING
Lesson objectives - Students will be taught on how a silk screen and acrylic colors can be used to create prints on various surfaces. - Students will be taught on how to use stencils to create unique and interesting patterns.

LESSON 8: CREATING MOSAICS AND COLLAGES Lesson objectives Students will be asked to bring old magazines, used paper to learn to recycle used paper or old magazines to make images of art. Students will learn about matrix dots and Pixels

LESSON 9: PORTRAIT DRAWING BASICS

Lesson objectives This lesson will teach the basics of drawing human face and how to apply different types of structures of human face. And their proportions. Students will get to draw any person they would like and find out on how to achieve their objective.

LESSON 10: SCENERY PAINTING (OUTDOOR CLASS) Lesson objectives This lesson will teach on how to draw more than one objective and learn about depth of field. Students will learn how to measure the light from shades using pencils or chalk. Students will understand how to read their environments and objects in perspective and light.
