 INTRODUCTION

 4G is going to drive the soldiers in the

battle fields in future by its rapid
communications by commanders.
 It includes broadband voice, video &
data transmitted using advanced
antenna & wireless security technologies.
 GEAR FOR THE FUTURE
WARRIOR

 The new system includes a full body armour with weapon,

head to toe protection uniforms, onboard computers to
monitor the activities.
 Uniform system is designed using advanced
nanotechnology.Its simply a body armour of traditional
textile embedded with nanomachines connected to
onboard computer that wore as belt around waist.It will
absorb unlimited number of machine gun rounds than
existing system.
 MERITS OVER
TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS
 Enhanced human performance which weighs 50
pounds from head to toe protection whereas the
current existing system has 120 pounds.
 Mobile mesh network allows to communicate
directly with each other without infrastructure.
 No external microphone needed since the helmet
has sensors that registers the vibrations of cavity
and it controls computer through voice
activations.

Enhanced power of vision provides,

 Unit detection
 Ground guidance
 Soldier status
 Target hand off
 Soldier rescue during battle.
 UNIT DETECTION

 Overlays beyond line of sight combat

identification to differentiate a friend &
foe.
 But combat ID is limited to line of sight
and identifies live targets for soldier’s
scope.
 Also enables rapid fire decisions &
reduces risk of friendly fire.
 GROUND GUIDANCE
 Directs soldiers to targets while avoiding
obstacles.
 It uses road maps and antenna imagery
to discover obstructions and generates
routes.
 This method frees the commander who
usually issues turn by turn directions
using paper maps and routes.
 TARGET HAND-OFF

 Enables rapid selection of fire support

targets using his weapon scope and range
finder.
 Warns the commander if soldiers are near
the targets. Also alerts the friendly soldiers
to the presence of nearby targets.
 SOLDIER RESCUE
 Identifies soldiers with vital signs
and prompts commanders to call in
nearby soldiers to provide
assistance.
 Directs the rescue team to the
injured soldier, while avoiding
obstacles.
 SOLDIER STATUS
The reality visual system provides,
 Presents battery indicator, vital signs, round
count and also displays physiological and
psychological values.
 Physiological values includes body temperature,
skin temperature, heart rate, water % in body.
 Psychological values monitors the brain
activities when suddenly firing order arises.
 CONCLUSION
 This system will be implemented in
future to provide intelligent
communication b/w soldiers connected
to common network controlled by
mobile unit.
 Yet so discussed is very simple but we
have to implement it without complexity
and should be cost effective.
