Mainly the energy meter is a device that measures the amount of energy supplied produced by a residence, business or machine.

Electricity is a clean, convenient way to deliver energy. The electricity meter is how electricity provides measure billable services. In India who didnt know reading, they didnt know about the energy readings. So for his purpose we are introducing TALKING ENRGY METER.

The idea behind this project is to construct the Energy Meter that is useful for illiterates and the busy people who cannot concentrate on the energy meter readings because of their busy schedule.

 Energy meter is an electrical device which is used to record electrical energy consumed over a specific period of time in terms of units . Periodic readings of electricity meters establishes billing cycles and energy used during a cycle. Energy consumed in an hour = 1KWH= 1 UNIT

An electric meter or energy meter is an essential device that goes with consumption of commercially distributed energy.

It enables systematic pricing of energy consumed by individual consumer as it measures the amount of electrical energy consumed by a residence, business, or an electrically powered device.

The voice module which is used for storing and to play back the messages and it is operated by microcontroller based on the energy meter readings. In this cristal oscillator is used to set the voice message in to audible range frequency

 This relay is used to disconnect the push button in single push button. When an electric current is passed through the coil it generates a magnetic field that activates the armature, and the consequent movement of the movable contacts either makes or breaks a connection with a fixed contact. A relay is an electro-magnetic switch which is useful if you want to use a low voltage circuit to switch on and off

MICRO CONTROLLER:Microcontroller is a small computer on a single integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory, programmable input/output peripherals.
Program is in the form of NOR flash or OPT ROM is also often include on chip , as well as a typically small amount of RAM. The name PIC initially referred to "Peripheral Interface Controller'". There are commonly three types of memories in a PIC Microcontroller, Flash Program Memory, Data Memory (RAM) and EEPROM Data Memory. In this Microcontroller EEPROM memory is used. EEPROM means Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory. EEPROM memory can be read and write electrically, can be accessed through program.
