UNDER THE GUIDENCE OF: Asst Prof . SHIVAKUMAR.

BY: CHAITRA KARAKASE MTech (ES & VLSI) 12Q96D7707

The main aim the project is to design a system which is used to monitor the patient condition using WI-FI and GSM technology Remote Health monitoring of elderly persons by using android based mobile data acquisition (DAQ).

ARM Features: RISC Architecture 16 or 32 ARM TDMI 32 KB SRAM 512 KB FLASH ROM Real Time Clock 2 Ports P0 ,P1

ARM has 7 operating modes -User (unprivileged mode under which most tasks run) -Fast Interrupt Request Mode FIQ (to handle high priority interrupt ) -Interrupt Mode IRQ (entered when a low priority interrupt is raised ) -Supervisor Mode SVC (entered on reset or a software interrupt ) -Abort Mode ABT (used to handle memory access violation) -Undefined Mode UND (used to handle undefined instruction) -System Mode SYS (uses same registers as user mode.)

ARM has 37 32 bit long registers

30 general purpose registers 5 dedicated Saved Program Status Registers 1 dedicated Current Program Status Register 1 dedicated program counter

The LM35 is an integrated circuit sensor that can be used to measure temperature with an electrical output proportional to the temperature (in oC).

Pulse sensor is also called as Heart Beat Sensor . This heart beat sensor is designed to give digital output of heat beat when a finger is placed inside it.

Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) is the integration of mechanical elements, sensors, actuators, and electronics on a common silicon substrate through technology.

GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) SIM900

According with the WiFi wireless WLAN standards, It accords with IEEE802.11 protocol stack and TCP / IP protocol stack and it enables the data conversion between the user serial and the wireless network module. through the UartWifi module, the traditional serial devices can easily access to the wireless network.
