Project Definition
Online Employee Payroll System would take care of the dayto-day Attendance of All Employee. It covers activities from keeping the details of day to day In, Out, OD etc.

Manage the daily attendance for the employee of the company. Date wise reports Easily maintainable and updateable Timing setter Multi level Reports, Easy to handle And lastly secure and reliable

Description of proposed system

The objective of the proposed system is to manage different information regarding any employee such as his/her verification or general Information & Payroll Information.

The proposed system is also managing the intership

a) Data & Information Security: The stored information cant be directly retrieved. To run the application you are first authenticated & if you are authorized authorized user then you can see your information.

b) System Security: -

The system is secured as well as auditable too.

Existing Payroll System

Employee salaries and wages for workers are calculated for each month or on a regular basis. All the details needed for calculating the payments are gathered, stored and edited throughout the month, then at the end of the month the gathered information is processed manually so that payments can be made to the employees. Some of the basic things that are taken into consideration when allocating salaries are EPF, No Pay, Loans, Advances, Other Allowances, Preparing Pay slips, Preparing Net Salary Reports.

ADVANTAGES OF SYSTEM

The Main Advantages of System

Sorting and storing documents and other information is much easier. No wastage of paper. All calculations can be done automatically as you enter data. Do not have to do the same task over and over again

Forms graphs, charts and tables can be used to display data more clearly. Data can be saved in magnetic disks or on CD ROMs so that you would have up to date in case the system is damaged.

All jobs such as calculating, sorting, creating reports and summaries, and printing can be don faster.

The Main Disadvantages of System

The system has the following drawbacks:
It is not fully automated

The searches can only be done within the limits of date joined, designation and department.
The password can easily be changed. Easy to make change in the design of the system of someone may be able to change it. No pay is not calculated automatically which means that the system is less effective.
