Field Trip Date: 5th April, 2014 Departure: 6am Destinations: Bortianor, Cape Coast and Komenda

Field Materials: Note books, cameras, measuring tapes, topo maps, GPS Dress Code: Trousers and boots
Field Report: 14th April, 2014 at 3.30pm

Your report should consist of the following: 1. Title page (separate page): title for your report, course name, instructors name, and your names & ID Nos. 2. An introduction (1-2 pages) that describes the objectives, the field trip, the route, all stops visited, and the types of landforms and landscape processes observed. 3. Body of the text: At each stop you should include: (i) a description of the location (ii) a description of the landform in the context of the broader landscape (iii) a researched interpretation of how that landform was developed 4. References: a list of all references to texts, journal articles, map(s) or websites (do not use lecture notes, as a reference) cited in your report. Each figure should have a descriptive caption. " Annotate your Figures with labels, where appropriate. All photos and diagrams must be your own or referenced to primary sources (i.e. dont use other students maps or photos). Your report should contain no more than 10 pages of text (12 point font, double spaced) for the introduction and body of the report (excluding References). The report should not be longer than 15 pages under any circumstance!

Preparation: Read over your class notes and text references on coastal processes and landforms, fluvial processes and landforms Objectives: (i) To acquire skills interpreting the processes that control landforms and landscape development (ii) Know and identify geomorphic landforms (ii) To develop skills in writing an informative scientific report
