WHEN DO PEOPLE GIVE FLOWERS TO OTHERS?

Birthdays Anniversary Holidays Valentines Day

WE ARE GOING TO CREATE A FLOWER POT !

FLOWER POT DIRECTIONS:

1. Students should have three pieces of paper in front of them. On one sheet of paper students will draw a flower. It can be any flower that they want.
2. After drawing the flower, students will then cut it out. 3. Next, using oil pastels color the flower in. (Students can come up to the front of the classroom and choose what colors they want)

4. After the flower has been made, on the second sheet of paper students will draw either a flower pot or a vase.
5. After it is drawn, students will then cut it out. 6. Using markers and/or colored pencils students will color in the pot or vase. (Students can come up to the front of the classroom and pick out what they want) 7. As students are working, the teacher can walk around the classroom with colored construction paper and students can choose what color they want as their background. 8. Glue down the flower and pot to the paper.

9. Stems can either be drawn or a green pipe cleaner can be used. If students choose to use a pipe cleaner it will need to be hot glue gunned down.
10. If there is time left over, students can create another flower!
