THE LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR TEACHERS (LET)

What is LET?
The LET is the examination required of all applicants for registration as professional teachers as mandated by R.A. 7836, ( an Act to Strengthen the Regulation and Supervision of the Practice of Teaching in the Philippines and Prescribing a Licensure Examination for Teachers and Other Purposes).

List of requirements for LET application

Original and photocopy of Birth certificate issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) in security paper Original and photocopy of the Transcript of Records with scanned picture (with remarks FOR BOARD EXAMINATION PURPOSES ONLY) bearing the exact date of graduation and Special Order Number indicated thereon and the 18 units of credit in Professional Education courses for graduates of noneducation courses

List of requirements for LET application

Original Photocopy of College Diploma if exact date of graduation is not indicated in the transcript of Records CHED recognition or permit to operate for graduate of new schools / programs Original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate issued by NSO in security paper

(for married female applicants) If married name appears in the transcript, it is not necessary to present the marriage certificate.
