Scoping paper on A potential ERIC on Health information
elaborated by an Ad hoc core working group (13 MS,
Norway, experts) discussed at the EGHI meeting in
January 2014.
As a result, representatives of 10 MS and Norway
expressed interest to form a consortium and prepare an
application for a design study funding under Horizon 2020
(deadline 2 September 2014).
Under 2014 work plan of the new Health Programme, DG
SANCO intends to support a continuation of relevant health
information activities, including the European Core Health
Indicators (ECHI) as a bridge towards a sustainable EU
health information solution.
